Purpose: The purpose of these meetings is to provide residents with an opportunity to learn about the E.O. 292 Advancing Environmental Justice in N.C. initiative, hear discussions on key environmental justice success stories and issues facing N.C. communities, and provide feedback on their community needs and concerns.

Format: Each two-hour meeting will include formal presentations followedby a panel discussion featuring community and environmental justice organization representatives. Participants will have the opportunity to visit information stations including demonstrations. Attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback via paper, online, dial-in and a text survey, and share their thoughts with EJAC members directly during the open house.

Join us on Saturday, May 18 for a community meeting at Wilson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. We will discuss environmental issues in Sampson County, share updates about our work, and enjoy some snacks! We hope to see you there.
